agree blackmore was purple but bolin was a nice replacement
the dude could play and his solo stuff was very good....

It seems according to some friends close to this source, Richie had the same disease except much more chronic as our Beloved Jerry which unfortunately was the reason for his early departure.

Yeah, it's not really Purple without Ian Gillian or Roger Glover either. Not sure why they kept the band name, but it's still a good show.
And you can't argue with David Coverdale's taste in women.
